1st transnational meeting in Manresa, in Spain: 6th – 10th November 2016
In November 2016 the Kick off meeting was held in Manresa/Spain.In this meeting all the Project activities were discussed. Before that meeting a satisfaction questionnaire 'Students' Expectations' had been prepared by teachers and during the first transnational meeting in Spain the results were shared and discussed to see how students felt and how their expectations were related to school and life in general; the same questionnaire will be modified and repeated at the end of the project, we would decide if the activities were educating and informative enough in the way they were expecting them to be. We also visited a beautiful town of Manresa and we had a chance to do some sightseeing in Barcelona!
Teaching/Learning/Training Activity for teachers in Istanbul, in Turkey: 10th - 17th January 2017
Teachers were given a seminar on life coaching, they also prepared a satisfaction
survey. The draft of a guide 'Drop out - Coaching at School' was elaborated. There were teachers from Poland, Italy, Romania and Estonia in Istanbul. Participants from Greece were stuck in Volos by bad weather - incredible but in Greece they had plenty of snow!! The pictures show our teachers at Turkish school working, learning and having fun! They could also visit some nice places in this lovely and historical city.
Teaching/Learning/Training Activity for students in Volos, Greece 5th-11th March 2017
In the activity eighteen students-visitors took part and eighteen students-hosts, they were our guardian's. During the meeting there was a workshop teaching us how to write a proper CV and how to behave during a job interview. Participants also wrote their stories enfitled "I have a dream..." about their dreamed career in the future. Moreover, there was a meeting with professionals in some local factories. During these visits students had the chance to experience different possibilities how to succeed as a firm owner. Our guardians also prepared some interesting trips in order to learn the culture alnd history of Volos and the Athens - a capital city of their beautiful country. After the meeting in Volos the calendar with photos from this visit was edited. You can see it in the file 'Final Products'!
2nd transnational meeting in Brasov, in Romania: 30th May - 4th June 2017
The Second Transnational meeting was held in Romania in May/June 2017. There were 2 teachers from each partner schools as participants of this visit. During that meeting an evaluation survey,
a draft of interviews for students and report on the participant observation were elaborated.The first year of the Project was assessed and the details of the Coaching system was
discussed. We also had the chance to learn some culture and history of this beatiful country.
Teaching/Learning/Training Activity for students in Catanzaro,
Italy 5th - 11th November 2017
The T/L/T meeting in Italy- November 2017- has started with an official opening, as we have called it, Erasmus Day, as a dissemination of the work done so far within our area. Many schools have been invited to welcome our partners and teams together with local authorities and Regional department of Education.
According to the project, the teaching/ learning / training activity in Italy had to be focused on Robotics. We have organized group work in order to establish how much they knew about Robotics, proposing a short introduction on what robotic has been throughout the years. Students participating to the meeting have been followed by a professional , who held a questionnaire at the beginning and the other one on the last day of the session in order to show the impact on them. Our goal was to encourage collaboration and teamwork among students using Robotic as a way of learning by doing.
Teaching/Learning/Training Activity for students in Kanepi,
Estonia 29th April - 5th May 2018
Kanepi Gymnasium held a Teaching/Learning/Training Activity 29.04.-05.05.2018 in Estonia, Kanepi. The main aim of the meeting in Estonia was to show the ways of reducing stress at school through outdoor activities and motivating students through different workshops. Teambuilding game in the forest, rafting on the river, photo hunting game in the village and football match of mixed teams encouraged the students to communicate with each other in English. The students learned how to achieve good results in teamwork, they obtained necessary skills moving in the nature and understood that outdoors is also a learning environment. Positive relationships were built and carried out during the whole meeting.
3rd transnational meeting in Olsztyn, in Poland 16th - 20th July 2018
Two teachers from each participating country, so 14 teachers in total, attended the meeting. In this final transnational meeting we assessed the outcomes (strengths and weaknesses) of the whole project. We also wrote a draft of the final report. Additionally, all participants have been trained by a professional expert how to share the elaborated materials using educational networking sites. The final product – a guidebook ‘Drop Out Coaching at School. How to reduce early school leaving?’ was edited and disseminated.
